Created the whole environment assets from the ground tiles, foliage , tree trunks , rocks boulders and the alien character
for a small game Project.
Made the concept sketches , then modeled and added details in maya and zbrush , then did my favourite handpainted texturing on Substance Painter and set it up in Unreal. Love using Unreal for quick render setups.
For this project i had fun experimenting a lot with the Unreal Level Sequencer , triggering Contact buttons and animating the gates in the sequencer itself. Made simple water material to propel the story of the scene and added a cozy secret lighting to the set with the help of light functions.
With this project I wanted to make foliage and test with different styles.
For a long time Foliage troubled me, now its one of my favourite things to make in game. Really loved the whole process ,though the Project as a game couldnt be finished.
